Danny Cagle Named Wheel Master for 2014

TMC Transportation, the largest employee-owned flatbed carrier in the nation, recently named Danny Cagle of Grovetown, GA with the highest driver honor given by TMC, the Wheel Master Award for 2014.

Cagle came to TMC after 20 years in the Army and has been with the company since 1999. He currently drives on a dedicated account. When asked what it is about TMC that has kept him here for over 15 years, he explained, “It’s the people and the way they treat you. The money is always nice but the people are what make the company what it is.”

“Danny has been a class act since the day he became part of the TMC family. He is the standard that every new driver should strive to become, and it is truly my honor to work with him. This award has been earned and I congratulate him for his success,” said Tom Rubbo, Cagle’s Fleet Manager.

“My advice to new drivers, you’ve got to have the right attitude. If you don’t enjoy it and you aren’t having fun, it’s not going to work for you,” said Cagle.  

The Wheel Master award was created as a way to recognize TMC’s best drivers. Each year a driver is honored with the Wheel Master distinction based on years of service with the company, safe driving record and overall quality performance.
